Last Thursday we were beyond delighted (and absolutely stunned!) to have won the 2022 GSMC Music Award for 'Single of the Year' for our song, 'What Comes Next.'
We are not just being modest when we say we were genuinely not expecting it... In fact Jen was so convinced we weren't going to win, that she was wearing an unconcealed acne 'spot dot' underneath her face mask! 😷 (She frantically made an emergency makeup trip to the bathroom just moments before we had the official photos taken! 😂)
But once the good news had sunk in (and the concealer was on!) we were smiling from ear to ear all night long... But what made us so wonderfully happy wasn't just our own award win; but the fact that so many of our friends won awards on that night too. We were literally jumping for joy each time we heard a familiar name being called out... After all, the greatest joys in life are the ones that are shared. And that isn't just something we say; it's something we mean, from the bottom of our hearts.
And speaking of all things heartfelt... We cannot convey how utterly thankful we are to each and every single person who voted for us. We simply wouldn't be where we are without your faith and support. You are what make it possible for us to do what we do, and for that, we cannot thank you enough.
